The historic Jamesport Meeting House will be the setting for an unforgettable evening of classical music on Saturday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m., as the acclaimed Borromeo String Quartet takes the stage.
Praised by The Boston Globe for its “edge-of-the-seat performances” and called “simply the best,” the Borromeo String Quartet has captivated audiences worldwide for more than 25 years. The ensemble features:
- 🎻 Nicholas Kitchen, violin
- 🎻 Kristopher Tong, violin
- 🎻 Melissa Reardon, viola
- 🎻 Yeesun Kim, cello
Together, these four virtuosos are known for their fearless interpretations and innovative use of technology. The Borromeo was the first string quartet to perform with laptops on stage, allowing them to play from composers’ original manuscripts and full four-part scores—a pioneering technique they also teach to aspiring musicians around the world.
