Stevie Van Zandt’s TeachRock Teacher Training Workshop with Stephanie Arnell – 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
For the very first time, the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame presents a series of free TeachRock workshops. Kicking off the day, veteran Freeport Public Schools educator, Ms. Stephanie Arnell, will lead a dynamic workshop aimed at promoting arts integration in education. With a wealth of experience in helping her district embrace the arts, Ms. Arnell is excited to share her insights and the free TeachRock lesson plans she employs with local educators. This event, exclusively for teachers, promises to be a valuable resource for enhancing teaching techniques through the power of music. Planet of the Tapes Radio Program – 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Prepare for an electrifying afternoon as the Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame hosts a special recording of Sirius XM Radio’s “LL COOL J’S Rock The Bells Radio’s Planet of the Tapes.” Join Diamond The Artist (DTA Experience) & Geechie Dan for a captivating session of the renowned radio program. The Long Island Hip Hop Tribute Show will be pre-recorded live from the Hall of Fame, featuring Long Island Hip Hop Artists in live performances, freestyles, and insightful interviews. It’s a celebration of the rich hip-hop culture that Long Island has contributed to the world of music.
Songwriters of Long Island Showcase – 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM

The Songwriters of Long Island (SLI) Facebook group, founded by Music Educator and Composer J. Peter Hansen, has been a vibrant hub for local singer-songwriters since January 2020. With a mission to support and showcase the talents of the Long Island community, SLI boasts a membership of over 1100 participants. Now, they’re proud to co-host their inaugural show at LIMEHoF. A dazzling “all-star” lineup featuring renowned songwriters will take the stage, performing their original compositions. The lineup includes:
